Choosing a care home

There is a wide choice of Kingsley Healthcare care homes and you should also visit homes run by other providers. We want you to see the difference for yourself. When visiting a care home, here are some things to look out for:

  • Are the staff welcoming and do they show interest in your loved one?
  • Do the residents look happy and occupied or bored and listless?
  • Is the place clean, tidy and well maintained?
  • Are residents treated as individuals adults, or children?
