The Queen Charlottes Care Home, Weymouth

Tel: 01234 268270

The Queen Charlottes Care Home is a large detached property that can accommodate 51 people who need nursing and dementia care. It is a safe and comfortable home with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Despite its size, The Queen Charlottes Care Home has a very homely feel about it due to being tastefully furnished and decorated. Its Georgian style architecture, with high windows and ornate ceilings echo the vast history this building carries. The house is reputed to have been the residence of Queen Charlotte, wife of George III. It has been used as a Manor House, a school and a hospital during the First World War.

The large garden is mostly laid with lawns and flower beds which residents enjoy maintaining. The large secluded patio area provides a tranquil place to relax and reflect away from the hustle and bustle of the home. Residents have access to the garden and patio area at all times. The Queen Charlottes Care Home has three spacious lounges, each offering panoramic views over Weymouth and surrounding countryside.
